from Tommy Booth’s mom

March 29th, 2010

In January 2008, Tommy Booth disappeared.  He was recovered in a creek behind the Ridley Township, PA bar where he was last seen.

On the anniversary of his death, his mom wrote a memorial. She’s allowing me to share it with you.

TOMMY BOOTH

8/18/83 – 1/20/08

Tommy, has it really been a year

Since the last time you were here.

I still cannot believe it’s true

Why God why did it have to be you?

A family of four we used to be

It’s so hard to think of us just being three.

How could they leave you alone up there

If they were your friends, why didn’t they care?

They weren’t your babysitter, one boldly said to me

A grown man of 24, so blameless are we.

Don’t they realize you were my pride and joy

And to me you were still my little boy.

We miss you every second of every day.

Love you always, Mom, Tim, and Mike
