Close Call?
“I am very shaken right now and need to share what just happened to me.” That was the first sentence in a lengthy email sent to me over Father’s Day weekend.
The woman and her boyfried were walking their dog on the wooded paths around Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota. On a hot summer evening, Lake Minnetonka is teeming with people walking, running, boating and drinking. It was late and the woman was near several hot party spots. “Just then,” she says, “a dark blue big van pulled up on the road and stopped. The man driving had the lights on in the van and he seemed to be typing or searching on a police like radio. My boyfriend and I were scared so we began to run up the path. A young man between the ages of 21-28 came walking past us. He was alone and looked a little afraid. We continued to walk down the path and about one minute later the boy came running from behind us. He stopped when he got to us. I asked him if he was okay. He said that he wasn’t okay and that he was afraid. He said it was a terrible night and that he couldn’t even begin to talk about it. He said that he was sorry because he was messed up. He didn’t seem messed up though to us.”
The young man walked away from the water and towards the street. The woman and her boyfriend searched for the young man, but couldn’t find him. They got in their car to drive home and spotted a police cruiser. She says that they flashed their lights at the car, but the officer didn’t pull over. Instead, the cruiser sped away from the busy area and into a more deserted neighborhood. The woman and her boyfriend turned away and called police. She says the dispatcher took her information.
The woman says, “I am scared. I know that the boy was running away from the van. It is like the van knew that he would be walking down the path and was waiting for him. We tried to alert a cop and he speed away from us. Whoever was in the van must have been in contact with people at the bar and in the area and I know it sounds crazy but a cop too… I am afraid for the safety of the boy. I wish I would have told him to come with me but he looked terrified and he could have been dangerous. Please get this information to the investigators or whoever you think would benefit from it.”
To verify the details, I asked the woman to get her police report or a record of her call to police. She says the police department does not have any record of report. The woman’s phone has a record of the call and the duration of it.
The woman is now on a mission to spread the story of SFK and is encouraging people to read about it and take precautions.
@BatMan
Your pictures, especially of the man “falling” into the water,and where is Waldo are really frightening. I can’t help but to see them as a connection. Would like to know what else you found as I am too afraid to go to that bridge. I mean, that is some creepy stuff.
@ BatMan - sorry the comments were closed on the graffiti page - it was not intentional. I changed the links at the top of the main page to make the “graffiti you found” section more apparent.
Thanks for alerting me.
@Kristi Piehl

@Monique777
Yea i WOULD NEVER Walk out their in the Dark alone, thats 4 - sure! THAT BRIDGE is Double Train width but I would say its not much longer than a semi truck, in length anyway.
Honestley I’d be happy to show ya (In the DayTime -LoL) Like if ya wanted 2 meet somewhere, an follow me in yar car out their. I’d say its 10 - 12 mnts. max from,,,,say the Summit monument or Clevland & 94.
I could send ya - or you me, an E-Mail.
Yet, I understand its always scary meeting people on the web. Especially with you (Allegedly - LoL) being a girl. J/K,. Then again, you could always bring friends; Boyfriend, Yar Dad. - Yar Dad - LoL. Seprate cars I’d be fine with. I would just like to talk to somebody, in the know about a few other Matches. i think im on to something else too, its just hard to get into detail on here, ya know.
But-
The One for istance i was telling ya about on ‘Graffiti You Found’ (about a hour or so ago) On the Last U - shaped Pillar by the water on the left. i think that matches the fading in 7 out Black- spray painted One (from Iowa or Illinois?) It had that crown ya mentioned. Its on ‘This Site’ somewhere? Although in the pic Krist posted ya, just can’t see the full tag. An I think that matches the one i been mentioing in Red underneath FRD PRKWY. I think ya could probally see it wit binoculaurs if ya stood far enough out. (to the North yet still underneath the bridge).
Either way let me know… It would be nice too show some other Detective who passionately believes in this SFK stuff & has knowledge of it.
Istead of trying to explain the WHOLE thing from the beganning to others who usually doubt it or just,,,Flat out don’t care.

has anyone seen the latest “Dateline” show? The killer killed at random using a knife (not related to SFK), but he had a copy of the movie “Human Hunters” in his truck. I was thinking this may be interesting if there is like a fan club or something. The movie came out in 2002 though. These drownings happened way before the movie.
@jbrown
For some reason I have in my notes the movies “Faces of Death” series 4-6.
In my notes I have the movie “Faces of Death” part 4 which came out in 1990. Dr. Gross does Faces of Death 1-3, but then Dr. Flellis, a neurosurgeon, whom they refer to as “the psycho Dr.” goes into a morality play by stressing the perils of alcohol and the mishaps it leads to with underage drinkers. The end of the movie gets into an FBI raid on a drug house which yields a satanic cult complete with snuff films and blood filled flasks. Movies 5 and 6 show corpses of drowning victims, a drowned man where bystanders watch as he’s put in a body bag and mass graves.
I think I have this in my notes because it was mentioned here.I tried watching Faces of Death part 1 and didn’t think twice about it.A friend and I made popcorn and we thought it would be creepy. I could not make it past 5 minutes of the movie nor could my friend.We were planning on watching the entire series as I wanted to see part 4-6 especially as someone indicated the SFK may have gotten ideas from this movie.
If anyone could make it through part 4-6 it would be interesting to hear what they thought-if it did seem to inspire the SFK around 1990.I just can’t watch it as it is too disturbing.There was almost a cult like following to these movies. That’s why I think part 4-6 may shed some light on where SFK may have taken some ideas from.
The problem is the majority of people can’t watch these movies. Just in 5 minutes time I thought I was going to be ill.I got up from the couch and almost passed out. My friend said I turned white. So, when I say it is very disturbing, I’m not saying this lightly. If anyone has seen part 4-6 I would be very curious to know if you think it inspired the SFK.
