Jay Polhill

A missing 20-year-old Columbia College student was found in the Calumet River on March 2.  Jay Polhill was  last seen Saturday, February 27 when he told friends he was heading to a party on the other side of Chicago.  According to reports, he sent his girlfriend a text message that he spent the night at the party and that was the last she heard from him.

His body was identified 24 hours after it was recovered. Authorities have not determined the cause of death.

I saw this story on our local news and fowarded it to Kristi. This young man was on his way to a party on the north side of the city and the river he was found in is the opposite end on the far south side. Very strange.
This is all disturbing. My son just left this weekend for the University of Iowa for a volleyball tournament and I told him to be very careful and to stay with his friends. Especially because there’s the Iowa River by the campus. Of course he said not to worry but when you see all of these stories I feel that many of these deaths have to be connected. It’s too weird.

I just noticed something, this yong man was from a small town in northern IL – Lena. Isn’t there another victim on the list from Lena, IL?

    Hi Frank,
I only keep track of the cities the victims were last seen in. I don’t have anyone missing from Lena, IL (Chicago, Oakwood, McConnell, Dekalb, Peoria, Carbondale, Evanston, St Charles, East St Louis, etc). But, that is not to say that any of the victim’s hometowns weren’t from Lena IL.

Matthew was last seen at a party in McConnell, Illinois on October 31, 2003. He failed to return home after the party. Friends stated that Matthew got out of the car and ran after police showed up at the party. After the deputies left, Matthew didn’t come out. His friends looked for him but couldn’t find him. Matthew’s body was found about noon in the Pecatonica River, about one-quarter mile north of the site of a party 12 days after where he was last seen.

Lena is a town of ~2,900 people. How do two missing students end up with the same basic “story”?????

Jay Polhill and Matthew Schiess were only ~4 years apart in age, that means they may have even attended the same high school at the same time. I ‘m sure a town of 2,900 people doesn’t have too many high schools. Matthew could have been a senior when Jay a freshman? I wonder if the families know each other?

So now there are atleast two sets of victims that went to the same high school. And another incident where cops were involved just prior to a disappearance.

That is a coincidence that they were both from Lena Il.

Lena has 4 police officers and a police budget of less than $250,000 per year.

If it was actually Jay Polhill that texted his girlfriend (think: anyone can text from a phone and the receiver would have no way to know if it is actually the person or not), but IF it was actually Jay, he was texting that he has spent the night at the party.

The second part is IF that was actually true. Jay could have gone elsewhere.

I hate to say this, but to me, it sounds like Jay was lying about where he was going and what he was doing.

Has anyone come out and said that Jay attended their party or that they were present at the party?

Jay may not have been on the north side at all. He may not have gone to a party. He may have had a rendezvous with another man. We don’t really know.

There have been other reports in Chicago of a different Columbia College student who ended out drugged in an apartment of some man he and his friends met at a bar/club. Did I read those reports on this site, or someplace else? Does anyone know what I am referring to? This was just a few months ago.

you need to contact Ed Dames or the Monroe Institute. They are ex-government remote viewers. They are for real and you need massive help. Sylvia Brown sucks. SORRY you do not want bogus physics in this. I have a son at UIC. they hang out at the bars and north pier. these people are not going to stop.
