Family Needs Help Finding TX Teen
Blake McNeilly was last seen in November 2008. While the circumstances of his disappearance are slightly different, his family is struggling to get publicity about his story. Sadly, when young adult men go missing, their photos and information don’t usually make headlines. The best way get information about missing person cases is to get people talking. It’s been said before – someone out there knows something!
Here is a missingpersonforum.com posting from Blake’s aunt:
Blake McNeilly was last seen in Desoto, Texas in a Wal-mart parking lot being picked up by a cab on November 13, 2008. The cab driver stated the he took Blake to Lancaster, Texas and dropped him in the center of town. This claim can not be verified to date.
Blake was reported missing in Southlake, Texas the evening of the 13th. Karl Moore of the Southlake police department stated to me that 19 year old boys leave home with nothing everyday and he is not missing he has just moved away from home. The Detective also stated that the cab driver determined Blake’s state of mind was not in question and the missing persons case was closed.
No one has seen or heard from Blake since a quarter past midnight on November 14, 2008. Blake left his wallet and all of his identification in his car. He took no clothing with him.
Blake is 19 years old. His birthday is April 26, 1989. He is 5′8 and weights 150 pounds. Blake has brown eyes and very dark brown to black hair. He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt and dark jeans.

I still think some cab drivers are responsible for many of these disappearances/murders. They should check into the cab driver as a suspect.
You are so right. It’s way too suspicious. Personally,I think he is a sf victim. I am so glad Kristi posted this. Thanks Kristi!
I am wondering why this young man took a cab from Desato to Lancaster without his wallet or identification. If I’m reading the story correctly, he left his car behind at Walmart with these items and opted for a cab ride? If he planned to visit friends and party then I can see leaving his car behind but his ID and wallet? Seems odd.
The ironic part of the story is while police can’t verify Blake actually rode in this cab to Lancaster, they can use the driver of this same cab to determine Blake’s state of mind???? And really, 19 y/o men leave home everyday with nothing and don’t tell anyone when they decide to move out? I had no idea this was a common practise but it sure explains why the police didn’t spend too much time looking for him. And hopefully these same police will understand if their own sons decide to “move out” in this same fashion that there is no need to look for them…it happens everyday-NOT. Darn it, it’s so maddening.
I hope the McNeily Family is given more resources to help locate Blake and can be given some closure. This family deserves to know if their son is okay at the very least.

I agree 100% with you Monique! I believe in this day and age that LE can trace the cabs passenger stops for his entire shift!
After reading Jan Jenkins book I was stunned at the treatment the family received from law enforcement, and after reading here that seems to be sadly the case for most of these poor families.I give the families so much credit for keeping the missing loved ones in the news! Certainly LE and mainstream media are not!
Both Lancaster and Desoto Texas are next to highway 35.. A Direct shot MN and I-94 where all these disappearances began.
The town Shamrock is near this Walmart. His name is Irish. A connection?

This is exactly what was going through my head when I brought his name up here. I’m just wondering if his aunt has been here to read through everything and learn about the sfk. The idea was so completly foreign to her but in an email she thanked me for taking an interest in his case.
She didn’t really say she’d check out this site but hopefully she will. It’s crazy how many people have no idea about this. And what about the announcement? January is almost over. Did Gannon and Duarte change their minds? There are so many young men going missing right now. It’s almost like the peak of it all. They need to make their anouncement soon because LE is obviously not doing anything. Is this going to go on for years and years?
Blake McNeilly in Desoto Texas and and Adam Falcon both on November 13 of different years. Desoto and Falcon are both names of cars. Falcon is a Ford. This is similar to another pattern that has repeated-Dustin JEUNE 9-19-2008-found in Lincoln Park. – Robert Hatley since JUNE 23, 09. Hatley was driving a Ford truck and missing in Desoto County.
